Gathering Together

Gathering Together

If you’ve been enjoying our online services over the last few months, or are simply interested in trying out church for yourself, we would love to  welcome you to our in-person services.

It is essential that you register to attend,  so we can ensure we manage our seating capacity under NSW Government restrictions (currently we are allowed  up to 100 people at a Service). We are monitoring developments closely and will update our plans as needed.

Here’s some more detailed information about what’s happening:

Available Services:

You can join our Sunday Services in person at 9am and 10.45am. Doors open 15 minutes before the service start time.

An Online Service will be available at 9am and 5.30pm each Sunday on our website.

If You Are Unwell:

Please join our Online Services from home if you are unwell.

Don’t attend church in person if you have any of these symptoms: fever, cough, sore throat, difficulty breathing, loss of taste or smell, headache, vomiting, fatigue, runny nose, muscle pain, joint pain, diarrhoea, nausea, vomiting or loss of appetite.

We’re COVID-Safe

We are a registered COVID-Safe organisation. Please apply hand sanitiser on arrival. We will record your attendance for contact tracing purposes.

In line with current recommendations from the NSW Government, we strongly encourage everyone to wear a face mask to church . We see this as a helpful way to care for one another, particularly the more vulnerable among us.  Masks are available at church for you to use, if you don’t already have one. We do understand that not everyone is comfortable wearing a face mask, and that’s ok, as it’s not mandatory at this stage. You will be warmly welcomed to church with or without one.

Our building is cleaned regularly to COVID-Safe standards.

Keeping Our Distance:

Please keep at least 1.5m between people at church. Follow the marked walkways into and out of the auditorium. Leave chairs where they are – please don’t move furniture around.

The total capacity of our building’s public spaces is 240 people. To maintain appropriate social distancing, we can fit a maximum of 60 people in the auditorium, and 50 in the foyer. We will adjust our attendance limits as needed, in line with NSW Government restrictions (currently 100 people at a time).

What Will Services Be Like?

We’ll pray together, read the Bible, hear stories about Jesus and listen to a sermon.  We can’t sing together, but you can hum along as our music team performs songs and hymns. Please use online giving only, as there will be no cash or cheque collection at church.

After The Service:

We need to close the building for cleaning when each Service finishes. This means that that we are not able to serve morning tea, and that you’ll need to leave promptly.

We encourage you to continue spending time together after the Service: in your homes, at a cafe or at one of the Coast’s beautiful local outdoor spaces.

For Children:

Babies and Toddlers: Parents/carers with children aged 0 – 2 are invited to sit in the foyer or Quiet Room for the Service. Please bring food, drink and toys for your children to use, if needed.

Kids Church: Kids Church will be running at the same time as our Sunday Services.  Classes are available for Age 3 to Grade 6. Drop your kids off in the Ballroom on your way in to church – please do not bring them into the foyer or auditorium.

Youth: High school students are invited to join in our church Services in the auditorium as we begin meeting together again.

I’m New

We’re glad you can join us! Make sure you register here to save your seat. When you arrive you’ll receive a booklet with some information about our church. If you’d like to have a brief chat after the Service, our friendly Welcome Team will be available. You can also find out more about us at
