Join us for dinner and boardgames, in support of church members Anya Sandeman and Harry Xie. They’re raising funds for a mission trip to Fiji, as part of the Year 13 gap year program.
What’s the Mission Trip About?
Year 13 is a program that allows school leavers to deepen their faith in Jesus and gain practical life and ministry experiences, too.
Year 13 partners with churches in Fiji to provide students with a month-long mission experience in July each year.
Harry and Anya will get a chance to teach Scripture in places like orphanages, schools and prisons. They’ll also join in local Fijian community projects, and gain experience sharing the gospel in a cross cultural context.
We’re really excited to support them as they participates in this program, and hope you can join us!
Boardgames Night
Grab your fave boardgame and get along to church for an evening of friendly competition and fun. We’ll share some food and hear more from Harry and Anya about Year 13.
Then, it’s game on! Whether you’re into simple card games or epic multiplayer table top games, there’ll be something for you to try. All ages and skill levels are very welcome.
And if board games are not really your thing? We’d still love to see you there, to join in some church family fun and to cheer Harry and Anya on as they prepare for mission.
